आगे कहानी में देखा की चेतन प्राची को उस समय के कपड़ों को निकालकर रखने का कह कर सीधा उस बंगले पर पहुँच जाता है और वहां पर पहले से सब सामान तैयार है और कोई घुंघराले बड़े बाल, लंबी दाढी रखे हुए दो लोग थे जो अपने हाथ में झोली पकड़े हुए और भाल पर भभूती तिलक किया हुआ था ।..... अब आगे
जैसे प्राची को चेतन पर शक हो गया था की जो बंदा पूरा नास्तिक था वो अचानक ही भूत- प्रेत, पूजा-वीधी ये सब मे मानने लगा है, तो ऐसा तो उसके साथ क्या हुआ वो जानने के प्रयास हेतु जुट जाती है। चेतन के करीबी दोस्तों और चाचा जो सबसे ज्यादा करीबी थे सभी को फोन करके चेतन के बारे मे जाँच-पड़ताल करती है मगर कहीं से भी जानकारी न मिलने पर वो थोड़ी परेशान हो जाती है।
वहां बंगले पर चेतन वो दो बंदों के साथ कुछ बात करता है, "हमने जो भी वहां श्मशान में त किया है उसी ही तरह इस बंगले में ये सब पूजा-विधि होनी चाहिए, कुछ भी गड़बड़ नहीं होनी चाहिए। दोनो बंदे चेतन को प्रणाम करते हैं और कहते है, "ज़रुर से आपने जैसे कहा उसी तरह से हमारी पूजा-विधि होगी। चेतनजी हमें जो भी काम करना है उसे इसी अमावस्या को ही करना पड़ेगा वरना हम और हमारी फेमिली कहीं की रहेंगी नहीं, पूरी ज़िन्दगी सब परेशान ही रहेंगे। (दरअसल चेतन हर रोज रात को वो दो बंदों के साथ श्मशान में जाकर तांत्रिक विधि सिखने जाता था, वो सब प्राची को कुछ भी मालूम नहीं था। ( वो पहले तो नास्तिक था मगर एक दिन कोई बाबा ने उसको कोई अभिमंत्रित किए हुए जल का छिड़काव किया जिससे उसको तांत्रिक बनने की इच्छा स्फुरित हो ऐसा कुछ करके अभिमंत्रित किया हुआ था। चेतन को उसके बारे में कुछ भी मालूम नहीं था क्योंकि उनकी सब हरकत भी सामान्य व्यक्ति जैसी थी। जो दो तांत्रिक उसके बंगले में आए थे वो बड़ी साधना करने वाले थे उनको कोई लड़की की बली चाहिए थी जो वो इस चेतन के जरिए ही लाना चाहते थे और ये बली देने वाला प्लान पूजा- -विधि करके सब चेतन ने बंगला लिया, तभी उन सब तांत्रिक के द्वारा हो चुका था और चेतन भी उस प्लान में फँस गया था। ) चेतन ने उस बंगले में पहुँच कर वो तांत्रिक ने जो प्लान किया था उस के हिसाब से सभी काम करने लगा और पूजा-विधि की तैयारी कर दी । । फिर उन तांत्रिक ने अमावस्या की रात को विधि करने की जानकारी के बारे में बताते हुए कहा "चेतनजी यह जो आत्मा आपके घर में दिन को दिखती है या फिर जो दिखी थी वो सिर्फ अमावस्या को ही सभी के सामने आ पाएगी और उसकी जो भी इच्छा हो वो पूरी करने में ही हमारी भलाई रहेगी।" ऐसा बोल कर तांत्रिक ने चेतन को भ्रमित तो कर दिया मगर चेतन उसके बारे में ज्यादा ही ऊँचा उतर गया था और वो उस बंगले में पूजा करवाने को बहुत ही उतावला था। जल्दबाजी भी कैसे करता क्योंकि तांत्रिक ने बताया था की ये पूजा हमे अमावस्या को ही करनी है।

Prachi, suspicious of Chetan, who had been a staunch atheist, suddenly began believing in ghosts, rituals, and other such practices. She sets out to find out what's wrong with him. She calls Chetan's closest friends and his closest uncle to investigate his whereabouts, but becomes somewhat worried when she can't find any information.
There at the bungalow, Chetan talks to the two men, "Whatever we did there at the crematorium, the same rituals should be performed in this bungalow, there should not be any mistake. Both men bow to Chetan and say, "Of course, our rituals will be performed as you said. Chetanji, whatever work we have to do, we will have to do it on this Amavasya only, otherwise we and our family will be left with nothing, we will remain troubled for the rest of our lives." (Actually, Chetan used to go to the cremation ground every night with two men to learn tantric rituals. Prachi was unaware of this. (He was originally an atheist, but one day, a baba sprinkled some enchanted water on him, inspiring him to want to become a tantric. Chetan knew nothing about this, as their actions were typical of ordinary people. The two tantrics who had come to his bungalow were highly devised spiritual practices. They wanted a girl as a sacrifice, which they wanted to obtain through Chetan. This plan for the sacrifice had already been finalized by the tantrics after performing the rituals and taking over the bungalow. Chetan was also trapped in that plan.) Upon reaching the bungalow, Chetan began performing the tantrik's plan and prepared for the ritual. Then, the tantrics asked him to perform the ritual on the night of the new moon. Explaining this, he said, "Chetanji, this spirit that appears in your house during the day, or that you saw in the past, will only appear before everyone on the new moon day, and it will be in our best interest to fulfill whatever wish it may have." By saying this, the tantrik confused Chetan, but Chetan was already very impressed with him and was eager to perform the puja at the bungalow. How could he rush, since the tantrik had told him that this puja must be performed only on the new moon day.
